1.
I feel my soul becoming detached from my body I fell as though pleas are unheard My ears are bleeding and my skin is crumbling What have we done that makes this reprisal just? Cruel the ire of the Prince of Magick His power of pain knows no bounds Bioluminescent fungal toxic gas clouds Descended on our souls and took our lives Killing all they touched Killing all who breathe Killing young and old Killing endlessly Without mercy Without thought The Mycomancer descended his plague Upon the ones he saw as insolent He felt no guilt rack his bones As their cries fell silent All the ones I love are gone I am alone, alive Their avenger I will be I'll see to the prince's end His end
2.
Skeleton 01:37
Awoken from the terror Shambling desperately Violent wandering Skeleton of fear Awoken from the terror (all consuming) Shambling desperately (filled with vengeance) Violent wandering (lungs collapsing) Skeleton of fear (corpse of longing) Agonized and pallid Searching for refuge Unknowing and powerless I am alone Agonized and Pallid Searching for Refuge CERTAIN DEATH WITHIN THE HOUR Beyond the horizon there lies a dark stone keep Giving my mind a glimpse of hope long abandoned Between I and it stands an old forest Filled with evil and horror I rush toward the tower, crazed to and fro Longing for food and safety recently revoked Past the oak and birch, I find, finally, a clearing My oasis lies straight ahead Skeleton of fear and longing
3.
At the gates of the keep, I stand awaiting Too late, I realize this is where the prince resides A man unfamiliar Taken and bound Brought to a barren cell Deep below ground Immured in bleakness Surrounded by death Air thick with blood In every breath I am left to rot among the corpses of hopeful vagabonds Waifs thrown asunder in the winds of change, as I was WRETCHES LIKE ME In the corner of my tear-streaked sight, a figure hides An Enchantress from far-off lands, cloaked in magick A dark confidant
4.
Immuration 01:56
Dwelling in the coldest chambers Awake with the starlight There she's stayed for years Under his nose, but under his thumb Practicing sorcery and witchcraft undeterred Taken as a child from her island home in order that her power did not see him overthrown The Mycomancer keeps her here On the brink of starvation and filled with fear The Enchantress takes my hand Seals a pact to see us bonded in life and death The Mycomancer must die by one of these joined hands On this day we join in might and magick Form one front against the lord, wizard prince Now the next ritual can begin To infuse my soul with Death's will

You! Will never hear me speak ill of the dead The memory of the ones you killed Haunts my dreams and my futures Let me sleep Let me die Let me kill you with my hands of magick You seem weary from your travels out the village You have earned a brief respite Yet if you wish I can slay you where you stand The hero thus springs forward Wizard shocked by the courage the pair tangle on the floor white marble turning red Battle in the Prince's hall Both have staggered one will fall Hands and feet crushing throats The hero taunts, the wizard gloats The wizard calls a guard to aid Takes a sword of opal-made Sticks it in the hero's chest Granting him eternal rest My last breath resounding out An aspiration voiced at the end of a life Enchantress, O, if you hear my call NOW is your time As I fade away I can sense the tromping steps of vengeant orks Led by the Enchantress
7.
The enchantress breaks the curse which bound the orks into servitude The ones who watch the prison cell are now free to kill their master Driving all to madness and chaos within Breaking down the walls of immuration around her Driving the orks above, to the court and throne Hoping to see the hero standing over the prince's corpse Speed metal orks The time of freedom has come for those wronged by him All rejoice We have come To reclaim The throne But what is this that lies beyond the throne? The hero cold and lifeless! Tears spew forth from the eyes of the Sorceress as grief takes hold I must shelter him, she screams aloud I must end his death He will not die here in this court of hate Not before our oath is fulfilled Take him from this place Take him now my orks I'll prepare the altar The ceremony will soon be done
8.
Dark Ritual 02:09
I wake from my descent surrounded by dark woods and spires An altar stood before me, incandescent, alight with pale blue My fate is in its hands The ritual begins She tells me to drink up the venom from a serpent, silent, slain I do as I am commanded and try to stave off the pain An explosion of light from the altar, red hued The evil snake's power of death flows through me In order to avenge their deaths, my kinsmen will rise from beyond I will let them show the prince what insolence truly means Death incarnates in me this ritual night
9.
Necromancy 02:33
I venture out, casting spells upon the land I know Robbing the graves to form my dominion In life these people knew only repression and suffering The powers of the moon through me free them from that past I feel my soul becoming cold Withering away as I expend my power An old arcane spell is woven To allow these corpses vengeance As the moon rises to its zenith The full might of necromancy floods my veins I send the dead to redeem and free the living Who toil 'neath the Mycomancer's lies I see his shadow in the blue moonlight I tell my dead to yield His soul Is mine To reap Face me, Triumphant, I am I shall strike you with thine own opal blade
10.
Pain! Will be your downfall Wretched is your fate Blade of opal in your right hand Fate will not serve you well Pain! Feel your pain tonight Bane! You wield the bane of men The sorceress comes from behind, fooling the wizard prince An incantation, muttered in silence Causing him to reveal his mind Pain! Eternal torment Pain! Suffering until end of days Pain! Eternal damnation Pain! Breaker of minds and wills Pain! Master no longer As the opal blade swings Cleaving his head The prince is dead The prince of fungal tithes meets his demise As we seek out (that's it. then we go.)

about

This album tells the tale of the downfall of an evil prince, the Mycomancer, who has destroyed the village of our hero through the power of fungi. Though imprisoned, the sorceress teaches him necromancy, the power of death, in order to defeat the wicked prince and claim revenge for his fallen people.

The album was recorded with three principles in mind: keep each song short, fast, and melodic. The result is exactly that.

Update as of June 24th, 2022: All money received from this project will be donated to the Roe Fund of OKRCRC, funding travel and medical expenses associated with abortions for Oklahoma residents.
